Road Closures

Route 812 – From 24 September 2018 until 7 May 2019 the main road between Barton and Yoxall is closed.  During this time we have no alternative but to divert buses between Barton an Alrewas via the A38 not serving Yoxall or Kings Bromley.  The signed diversionary route is not suitable for buses and the alternative via Needwood takes too long to fit in the current timetable without requiring an additional bus for which no funding has been offered.  Journeys on route 810 will continue to serve Yoxall and Kings Bromley at school times with extended journey times between Barton and Yoxall.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by this diversion which is due to work being undertaken by Severn Trent Water in conjunction with Staffordshire County Council for the replacement of sewers in the road.

In addition, following customer feedback, the 0610 811 journey will now run at 0615 and five minutes later throughout.

Routes 2 and 21 – Rosliston Road Stapenhill – From 24 September 2018 for up to one week Rosliston Road Stapenhill will be closed, during this time buses will run via Hawthorn Crescent between Brackenwood Road and Rosliston Road.  Buses will not be able to serve the stops at the Crown, Weir Bank and Baker Street during this time.
